Dee Marie, MA, CYT, Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Skidmore College in Dance and Theater. In the middle of her dance career, she was in a tragic car accident in NYC.  This led her to earn a master’s degree in Exercise Therapy, Child and Motor development from NYU.  Dee is trained in classical yoga and Ayurvedic Yoga therapy by Shri Swami Rama, Makunda Stiles, and Swami Yogacharya Dharmananda

Dee Marie is the SAVE (Stop America’s Violence Everywhere) representative for the State of Colorado and is the creator and director of CALMING KIDS (CK): Creating a Non-Violent World a nonprofit organization started in 2004 under the American Medical Association Alliance. She trains teachers in –person and online, how to implement school-based yoga programs for children and teens and offers private yoga therapy sessions for families and individuals of all ages. Dee has been a practicing yoga therapist for 30 years.
