NEW HAVEN, CT—Kathryn Templeton, MA, RDT/MT, E500RYT has been named to the faculty of the Himalayan Institute.

“Not all teachers are given platforms in which to teach,” said Templeton, “The Himalayan Institute is my spiritual home. It is something that is beyond myself. Being named to the faculty lets me become a deeper part of this family and work in service to that family. I am deeply honored to not only have a place to teach, but to teach in a place I respect and love.”

Templeton’s area of expertise centers around the Three Wisdom Traditions, which include Ayurveda, Yoga and Psychology. She will teach a number of workshops and events at the Himalayan Institute and at various other locations throughout the US and world.

“I am glad to see Kathryn sharing her profound knowledge and experience of yoga and Ayurveda in a most practical and authentic manner,” said Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Spiritual Head of the Himalayan Institute. “She has blended these two sister sciences, yoga and ayurveda, in such a perfect way that both beginners as well as experienced practitioners can benefit equally.”

Templeton is currently teaching a four-part certification program called Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Training at the Himalayan Institute and at several additional locations nationwide.
