New Years Weekend: Come Celebrate Our Humanitarian Impact

Join Pandit Rajmani Tigunait for an inspiring New Years weekend seminar: Inner Healing For The New Year. Also celebrate the impact of our Global Humanitarian Projects as our café hosts a fundraiser and open house to support One Book & One Buck. The open house provides an environment to learn about and support our humanitarian work while enjoying the atmosphere and products of the cafe.

Enjoy a 2013 recap and learn what the new year will bring.

The Humanitarian Projects team is reassembling in Honesdale after being on site in India, Mexico and Cameroon. We have been hard at work, expanding key areas of our projects abroad. Now, back in Honesdale, our team needs to raise the necessary funds to send a shipping container full of books to Cameroon, West Africa. This book shipment furthers the Himalayan Institute’s mission of rural empowerment through education and makes great strides towards expanding literacy and education in Kumbo, Cameroon.

100% of our café proceeds will ship books to Cameroon!

Every café purchase this weekend makes a difference! 100% of the café proceeds during this weekend supports our book shipment. 10,000 books will fill the shipping container; $10,000 will ship and import these books into Cameroon. The ratio is 1 to 1, therefore every $10 spent will ship 10 books… and serve tens of thousands of people in the Northwest Cameroon over the next decade.
