Self-Transformation Program

We invite you to a four week residential program that will change your life! Learn and practice proven techniques for transforming your habits and creating a healthier lifestyle.

Participate in daily yoga classes, guided meditation practice, and progressive study sessions on the body, breath, mind, and spirit designed exclusively for residential program participants. On the weekends, attend the Institute’s noted seminars.  Enjoy the full scope of our Year-Long Group Meditation program, including daily group meditation and weekday intensives. Four to five hours of karma yoga (selfless service) each day ensure that you become an integral part of the community while helping you to learn to maintain your practice in the midst of daily activities.

This powerful one-month to three-month residential program is designed to make you self-reliant and self-confident as you experience personal growth on all levels.

Depending on the season, you can hike, bike, ski, skate, and enjoy the rolling hills and beautiful vistas of our campus.

Weekends are reserved for Scheduled Seminar attendance. To review seminar listings, go to our Guide to Programs.

The schedule leaves ample time for unstructured, individual pursuits: resting, reading, sports, walking, or hiking the Institute’s trails.

The Self-Transformation Program includes private room accommodations and vegetarian meals, weekend seminars, all weekday classes, and karma yoga.

The Self-Transformation Program does not include Yoga Teacher Training programs, unless by prior application and arrangement, for additional cost.

Plan to arrive by 5 p.m. on the Thursday the program begins; a full welcome and orientation is held on Friday morning at 9 a.m., and your first seminar begins Friday evening. You may extend your Self- Transformation Program stay for as long as three months, by application, or, if you are interested in staying longer, you may apply to transfer to the Residential Program.
