For those who wish to make a long-term commitment to self-transformation and service, we offer the Himalayan Institute Residential Internship Program. Join our vibrant community of spiritual seekers for an active year-long program designed to help cultivate a joyful mind, overcome obstacles, and find meaning and purpose in life.

 
The Residential Internship Program involves daily participation in karma yoga, where you become an integral part of the community, support our humanitarian efforts, and practice yoga disciplines in daily life. Also included is full participation in our weekend programs, daily yoga classes, many educational opportunities, and activities designed for residents only.

Private room accommodations and vegetarian meals, weekend seminars, all weekday classes, and karma yoga are all included as well. The Residential Internship begins with the month-long Self-Transformation Program.

Residential Internship Programs of three to nine months may also be available after completing the Self-Transformation Program.

The Residential Internship Program does not include Yoga Teacher Training programs, unless by prior application and arrangement, for additional cost.

Admittance to the Residential Program is by approved application only. Submit application at least two months in advance of the date you wish to begin.

An interview is required. The 30-Day Self Transformation Program is a prerequisite.

Cost: Year-long Residential Internship Program: $3,000

Cost for Residential Internship Programs of three to nine months duration:
Self-Transformation Program fee: $850 plus $300 per month thereafter

Cancellations: The Himalayan Institute reserves the right to substitute faculty for any event and to cancel any program at any time.
