Roger Nath, Ph.D.
There are two types of leadership systems: life-giving systems and death-dealing systems. Death-dealing systems are characterized by action-reaction chains: fear, greed, ethnic tensions, alienation, and despair lead to acts of terrorism, causing nations to resort to military power.
Life-giving systems are characterized by trust, openness, and great regard for human dignity. In these systems, energy is directed toward building a productive and hopeful future and people are empowered to achieve their god-given potential. This session discusses how to develop leaders whose vision and actions create and support life-giving systems.
President of the Institute for the Development of Human Potential, Dr. Nath is Professor Emeritus at The University of Pittsburgh and Former Executive Director of the World Technology Center project.
