Tibetan Settlements

The Himalayan Institute in partnership with the Tibetan Government-in-exile brought Energy Farming to the Tibetan refugee settlements, promoting sustainable agriculture and green energy. After a successful three-year establishment period from 2009 to 2012, these efforts have taken root, and is now fully managed by the local Tibetan settlements.
