Story of Help Africa Move Forward Logo
The inspiration for the Help Africa Move Forward campaign emerged from the heart of Africa.
While enjoying a walk through Douala, the main port city of Cameroon, Pandit Tigunait discovered the "Magical Lady," now better known as the face of Help Africa Move Forward. An original piece of art made entirely of butterfly wings, the "Magical Lady" and this form of butterfly-wing design are traditional to northwest Cameroon.
"Made of butterfly wings, she is empowered with the capacity to fly. Her back is bent with life’s burden, and yet she is determined to move forward.
