100–Hour Advanced Yoga Sadhana Certification
Courses begin Spring 2013 with Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, PhD,Sandra Anderson, Rolf Sovik, PsyD, Shari Friedrichsen, Kathy Ornish, and Sarah Goddard
Chakras, koshas, nadis, prana vayus, gunas, bhutas—yoga’s tantalizing descriptions of the unseen aspects of ourselves are startling and powerful. Understanding these subtle body maps and integrating that understanding into our yoga sadhana, or practice, awakens an entirely new dimension of experience and comprehension. This series is a systematic study of philosophy and practices from the Upanishads, Yoga Sutra, and Tantric Shastras designed to broaden our understanding of our own nature and the elegant practices that unfold our deepest potentials and greatest healing.
- Explore prana vayus, chakras, koshas, and Samkhya philosophy, on which all yoga and tantric practices are predicated.
- See how the body, mind, heart, senses, intellect, and intuition are related, and what practices give access to these powerful aspects of ourselves.
- Refine your asana to access the pranic body, and develop pranayama to empower and stabilize the pranic body.
- Cultivate your meditation practice to heal otherwise unreachable depths of mind.
The program includes individual consultation and guidance from senior teachers to help you customize your practice, find inspiration, and make lifestyle choices that heal and empower you at every level.

Samkhya is one of the six classical Indian schools of philosophy, and the oldest formulation of the ideas of even older revealed texts, like the Upanishads and the Vedas. In this mini-course, Panditji describes the major ideas of Samkhya. Study questions and notes will help you assimilate the basics and expand your grasp and application of all aspects of yoga, Ayurveda, and tantra.
