The 10-day meditation slot includes 2 Weekend Seminars and a 4-day Intensive.
MAY 30 - JUNE 1: WEEKEND SEMINAR A Mindful Transition: Balancing the Forces of Conquest and Surrender.
Life is on the move; the whole world is on the move. Peace is on the move; so is violence. Prosperity is on the move; so is poverty. As we stand at the crossroads of change and transition, we wonder, should we keep trying or give up? All of us are caught in the war between good and evil, right and wrong, a clear conscience and convoluted thinking, personal conviction and others’ opinions, and the demands of our senses and the call of our soul. Do we go on struggling mindlessly, or can we conquer our problems with the spirit of surrender? Learn how to balance the forces of conquest and surrender; infuse your family, job, society, and environment with inner harmony; and discover the Sacred Link that nourishes and connects us all.
Topics include:
- Overcoming the pain caused by isolation and alienation
- Discovering the matrix of nurturance and reconnecting with our core being
- Exploring the relationship between body, breath, mind, and soul
- Balancing our worldly ambitions with our spiritual aspirations
JUNE 2-5: 4-DAY INTENSIVE A Mindful Transition: Balancing the Forces of Conquest and Surrender
The intensive consists of an evening program, beginning at 7:30 or 8:00 pm. The daytime hours are free for meditation, study, exercise, rest and invitation to karma yoga.
JUNE 6–8: WEEKEND SEMINAR Dynamics of Meditation®: The Inward Journey. Dynamics of Meditation® is the Institute’s flagship seminar—an essential step in the Self-Transformation Program. Discover the wellspring of your potential. Get in touch with your physical vitality, free the forces of your mind, sharpen your intellect, and unfold your innate spiritual self. Dynamics of Meditation® is a perfect blend of theory and practice, lectures and workshops.
Topics include:
- How to curb the roaming tendencies of the mind and turn the mind inward
- How to assess your present physical, pranic, and mental capacities, and train them
to work together in balance and harmony
- How to sit, breathe, think, and concentrate in a manner that allows your lungs,
heart, nervous system, and mind to function harmoniously
- How to work with your natural urges: hunger, sleep, sex, and desire for self-preservation
- How to receive vigor and stamina from 61 vital centers (marma points) in the body
- How to meditate on the breath and the primordial sound, and prepare the ground
for true spiritual unfoldment
The accommodation rate indicated below is for a 10-day/9-night stay.
