This seminar focuses on the in-depth study and science of mantra, the process of initiation, and the dynamics of transmitting spiritual energy (shaktipata). It will help you understand when to seek direct guidance from a teacher in your spiritual quest, or, if you already have direct guidance and a personal mantra, how to take your practice to the next level.

You will learn: 

  • The meaning of a spiritual tradition, the value of an unbroken tradition, and the pros and cons of being part of a tradition
  • The meaning, purpose, and process of initiation, and the roles and responsibilities of a teacher and a student
  • The different levels of initiation: initiation into a universal mantra, a bija (seed) mantra, a personal mantra, and mantras pertaining to mahavidya (the great path leading to ultimate freedom)
  • The specific system of mantra meditation as taught in the tradition of the Himalayan masters
