Share the Wisdom of a Living Tradition

Supporting the Himalayan Institute (HI) as an affiliate is a very common request of many of our members, certified teachers, and seminar attendees. Your support for the teachings of the Tradition is essential for the ongoing well-being of the HI’s Mission. For those of you interested in doing more, your tireless effort and gracious word of mouth helps to ensure that the Tradition’s teachings reach even more people. When you host an Affiliate Program, HI will be your marketing partner using various channels including our monthly newsletter, program calendar, social media outlets, and website.

There are three ways to gain exposure, raise revenue, and most importantly, share the wisdom of a living tradition:

1) Offer Himalayan Institute Membership as a Fundraiser

The simplest way to affiliate with us – be an Ambassador at your studio, amongst your friends.

Encourage your students and friends to sign up for membership to the Himalayan Institute through you. They receive a $10 discount off the listed price.
You get 30% of the proceeds!

2) Host a Himalayan Institute Teacher

Host a workshop featuring an HI Teacher.

Working one-on-one with our faculty, choose the program that best fits your students’ needs and availability.
Increase your students’ knowledge and raise funds for your studio.

Revenue Share Guidelines

We will strive for mutual financial benefit. We can suggest several successful programs to ensure that our minimum requirement of $2000 is met.

We prefer larger groups with lower tuition costs so that the teachings reach the most people.

We look forward to helping you create the perfect program for your community – to share scenarios, business practices, and host success stories to make your program memorable and fruitful.

3) Host a RYS-200 Teacher Certification

Are you a Himalayan Institute certified Yoga Teacher looking to cultivate a community of teachers and eager students?

Provide excellent training to your most loyal and important clientele and greatly increase your revenue.
We support your efforts with a generous tuition share.
Once approved, you will work one-on-one with our Teacher Training Team to structure the perfect certification program for your aspiring teachers.
Our Teacher Certification Program is thoughtfully designed by a world-class Faculty with over 250 years of aggregate teaching experience. We write the curriculum, design the course, and achieve certification from Yoga Alliance. You simply partner with us as the host and teacher.
All of your Teacher Certification Program participants receive one year of Premium Membership to the Himalayan Institute included in their tuition.

200-Hour Certification is divided into 11 modules. The total tuition for the program is $2,999. A $485 deposit is required, and the remaining $2,514 will be divided among 11 modules ($229 each module). The Affiliate Program partner will receive 100% of the tuition for the modules they are approved to teach at their location.

The Himalayan Institute receives 100% of the tuition for modules in which an HI faculty member teaches on location or in which students travel to the Himalayan Institute. HI also receives the full License and Materials Fee and Book revenues.

If the Himalayan Institute teaches 100% of the training, the Affiliate Program Host receives $250 per attendee.
