Thanksgiving Yoga to Support Trees for Tibet

0

On Thanksgiving morning, the Zero Balancing Wellness Center of Wilmette, IL hosted a yoga class to support the Trees for Tibet campaign. John Daskovsky, a certified yoga teacher from the Himalayan Institute, taught the class which featured exercises for joints and glands, sun salutes, and of course tree pose.

The class was a lot of fun with students of all ages and levels of experience.

12 students arrived for the class, and together with donations from friends who could not attend, the event raised $200 – enough to plant 40 trees! A big thanks to everyone who participated!
